Project’s environmental impact

 

The project goal is to minimize the environmental impact and to come within a sustainable development of the area and of the regional tourism aiming at preserving its authenticity.
In concrete terms, that will be characterized by:

• for constructions and logistics:
• The buildings will be built in ecological materials (as wood) and of local source by respecting the regional style, all carried out with local artisans
• The design of the buildings will be bioclimatic, privileging a passive solar heating and a strong natural insulation
• The roofs will be green roofs for a better integration in the landscape
• Hot water will be partly heated by solar collectors
• The heating will be ensured by woodburning stoves (using pellets)
• There will be harvesting rainwater system and this water will be used for the toilets for example, the drinking water will be twice filtered, the cleanup will be natural by plants
• The selective waste sorting will be carried out, a unit of compost will be fitted out
• Electricity will be ensured for whole or part by a wind turbine
• Cooking will be to some extent ensured by wood stoves and a solar oven
• External lightings will be ensured by photovoltaic solar standard lamps
• The means of conveyance used will privilege the least polluting ones
• for the services and activities:
• The search and use of local products and local skills
• The use of biological foodstuffs
• Banishment of the use of motorized machines outside the roads (except the safety ones)
• An educational orientation of sensitizing to the nature conservancy
• A minimal disturbance of the environment
• for the customers:
• A strong incentive with the respect of the environment
• A strong incentive with the waste sorting
• A strong incentive with waste-hunting and energy saving
• An incentive with the discovery and the respect of the practices and local habits
• A sensitizing with renewable energies
• A prohibition to use harmful products for the environment and health
