Mazuria region

Mazuria, also called the area of the thousand lakes, is covered in fact of more than 3000 lakes of the postglacial age and forests. It is the green lung of Poland, located at North east of the country, this area has a still intact nature (last primary forests of Europe).

It is a vertiginous paradise for the nature in love ones and the outdoor sports lovers. Not better place to meet beavers, storks, bisons, deer, swans, to gather bilberries, blackberries and mushrooms or to practise sailing, canoe, bicycle or horsemanship.

The main tourist season is the summer from June to September but it is also possible to remain there in winter, the lakes are then iced over and there is snow. Spring and the autumn are ideal for the observation of fauna and the flora.
